"No Daisy’s will grow in our garden!!!!!!"
Februray 5, 2002, Tiffany Stubbmann, F 00

"One of my many fine memories is dancing on the butcher block at the
Inn Between. One particular night Lori Everett and I were shaking our booties
like it was nobody’s business. Right in the midst of Louie Louie I got
slammed in the chest (Phi Lamb shirt and all) with the reddest drink I’ve ever
seen! Someone out there sure had good aim. So, of course, I jumped down and
chased that little B____ out the front door only to be stopped by one of those
monstrous bouncers before I could get a good swing in. Oh well, just another
night out at the IB... I have such great memories of the many times we all
controlled that dance floor as well as the butcher block. Guns and Roses,
Whitesnake, Whitney Houston...it was all good. Air (leg) guitar, anyone?"
April 4, 2000, Maureen Mulcahy, S 87

"Our pledge class made all the arrangements in obtaining
the Phi Lamb House from Gary Least. We spent all one summer driving all over
picking up furniture, going to auctions to furnish it. We had a great time and
took great pride in finally getting a house!" October 1999, Anne
(Seeley) Bowman, S 70

"I will never forget Tammy's "Ode to
Roy." We hung it in the bathroom right in front of the
toilet. If anyone still has the words, I would love to read it
again." June 17, 1999, Cynthia
(Anderson) Gillespie, S 87.

"Not the best of memories, but one I would like to
share. I watched the Phi Lamb house burn down in the Summer of
1992. I believe I was one of only 4 Lambs who were there. It was devastating to watch, like a piece of my life being erased before
my very eyes. I remember that Bob Atkinson (Phig) was the first
to discover the fire on his way back to an Arethusa afterhours
that evening (poor Bob was later apprehended by the police as a
possible arson suspect!). I was subletting a room from Jeannie
Rosati (about 3 houses down from the Lamb house) that summer and
was awoken by my roommates banging on the door telling me that the
Phi Lamb house was on fire. As soon as I stepped into the living
room, I could smell it. It was late and a Saturday night. The
Geneseo volunteer fire department were stumbling around in there
like a bunch of buffoons. I watched one almost set himself on
fire. The next day I went to see the damage. I saw all sorts of
burned debris in the back yard, including my pink beanbag chair
that was melted and fused to the ground. I looked down on the
ground and saw a piece of hope. It was a picture of Denise Klein
and Beth Dutton. The picture was fine with a perfectly burnt
frame around them. As I looked at this picture of my
"burnt" friends (ha-ha), I picked it up, saved it, and
knew we would be fine." Bianca
Tocci, S 89.

"We moved into 24 Wadsworth Street in Fall 1971.
We would have parities every Friday night, just the sisters and a
few friends, we would drink wine and sing along to 'oldies' and
just enjoy the time together in the house. In the Fall of 1971,
we took the first fall pledge class. This was started because one
of the sororities was down in membership to the point that it
took every effort of all the Greek organizations to help them
through it." Laurel
(Klementowski) Burger, S 71.

"I remember having to carry a small bear
called Checkers while I pledged. Debbie Preznyna (Pretzel) was
our pledge mistress and we kidnapped her on pledge night and
brought her to Rochester." >Beth
(Ireland) Liberatore, S 71.
(PS Checkers is still carried by pledges today! Although now he's
called "Checkers in a body bag" because he's so old
they had to put him in a ziplock bag to keep him from
disintegrating.--CBH)

"I was the best Phyllis Phi Lamb ever! Too
many juicy stories to put into print!" Linda
(Flesch) Marshall, S 71

"I will always remember the time I spent at
24 Wadsworth as the most fun and wild years of my life. It was
wonderful and I am thankful for it and the many friendships
formed that still exist today!" Ellen
(Clarey) Kern, S 87.

"We were the very first pledge class ever!
It was a great sorority, tons of fun, very out going girls."
Linda
Monteverdi-Kuehn, F 64.

"I had a complete laugh when I looked at
the pictures of the current sisters and saw that one was Phyllis
Phi Lamb. I had totally forgotten about that, and am amazed that
that particular title survived all these years." >Marcia
(Goldstein) Ratcliff, F 67.

"Recently many Lambs met in Hot Springs, NC
to celebrate Kim Dunn's bachelorette party. I could send some
crazy pictures but I don't dare open that Pandora's Box. After
you leave the bubble of Geneseo, whenever 3 or more Phi Lambs
assemble (with OR without party favors) you MUST travel at least
4 hours away from your home so that neighbors, coworkers,
students, family members, etc., do not witness the
buffoonery!" Kristen Roberts, S 90.

"Up until me, my family was the last
straight line family from charter member down as I recall. I
still have my blazer and original pledge book with songs,
etc." Linda (Schrader) Mros, S 69.

"I rented a room in 24 Wadsworth before it
became the Phi Lamb house--that would have been in 1966-67. It
was owned by the Baldwin family, and they rented out several of
the upstairs rooms. I lived in the upper left hand corner front
room. Very cozy, very nice." Kathy (Shepard) Arthur, S 66.
